Select the highlighted shape in the following image and check the current fill color by zooming into the Color panel (Window > Color). You can see that orange is made up of 6% cyan, 70% magenta, and 90% yellow. These three colors and the black make up a four-color job. Now you might want to turn it into a two-color job and print it whenever you want the orange to be the same color.

In the following steps, you'll learn how to make this change and avoid scrolling through over 1,000 Pantone colors to find the perfect match.
Make sure your shape is still selected Find the perfect Pantone by choosing Edit > Color Editing > Recolor Image (or click the Color Image button in the Control Panel).
In the newly opened dialog, click the highlighted button to limit the color change to the color library you specified. Go to Color Book > PANTONE + Solid Coated Looking back at the Color panel, you'll notice that the orange has been changed to Pantone and a Pantone Spot Color switch has been added to the Swatches panel (Window > Swatches).
Now you can select a starburst shape, assign it the same Pantone color from the swatch panel, and drop its color down to about 50%.

Select everything from the logo and go to Edit > Color Editing > Preset > 2 Colors... Select the PANTONE + Solid Coated library and click OK to open the Recolor artwork window. Here you can change the preset if you change your mind No so click OK
Now you can see that the darker orange is Pantone, the lighter orange is Pantone which corresponds to 50% shade, and the black is Pantone process black.
