G36c Vs G36k - The Heckler & Koch G36 is a 5.56×45mm automatic rifle developed by the German company Heckler & Koch (H&K) in the early 1990s as a replacement for the 7.62mm G3 battle rifle. He joined the Bundeswehr as a substitute in 1997. G3. The G36 is gas-powered and is fed from either a 30-round detachable box magazine or a 100-round C-Mag drum magazine.

This limited edition includes two versions of the G36: the G36K and the smaller G36C. Both are shorter than the standard G36 I reviewed earlier.
Unlike the regular G36, this kit is made of brown plastic, but I decided to paint them both black. The inside of the transparent magazines was painted gold to imitate bullets.
In addition to a spare magazine, the kit includes a scope, flashlight, and some front grips (which I didn't use).

I also bought a HK416 kit from Orange Cat with a rifle scope and rail mounted grenade launcher.
I decided to mix and match accessories between the G36 and the HK416 and use what was left over from the Gun Accessories A Kit.
I didn't like the original G36, but these C and K versions, especially the G36C, look better. Another advantage is that you can build both versions at the same time. Unfortunately, this is a limited set; I got mine at a hobby show a few years ago.
As for the HK416, it has fewer parts than a typical Little Armory kit, and possibly less surface detail. But overall, it's very similar to the regular M4A1 kit.
